Mission Statement

Our culture values certain types of intelligence to the exclusion of others, and LDND is dedicated to challenging this status quo. One of the main goals of LDND as an organization is to create a living network of students who can offer support to one another, encouraging students to embrace their differences and reject the stigma associated with LDs.

By investigating innovative public policy approaches to creating equal access to high quality education, advocating for student rights, gathering expert voices, and connecting students in the community, LDND aims to transform the isolated experience of a student with LDs into an ambitious journey to their individual goals.
